Tree Theory
As the climate changes, the boreal forest is teetering. How much should we intervene?
Lois Parshley
Statement
I moved to Alaska in 2019, the year Fairbanks’ weather station officially shifted away from a subarctic designation. Witnessing climatic changes is a theme that runs through all of my work: I care deeply about building narratives that help illuminate connections between people and their environment.
